that was very fun and the presentation was great. it would be great if the targets were randomized rather than scripted because after you play it a couple times you start remembering where the targets appear. or possibly a random mode and then a scripted mode with many different levels.

pretty good tutorial

but what happens if you use attachMovieClip to place a new clip on the clip stack? the cursor will be under it! not good. you could also use updateAfterEvent to solve the choppyness issue of the cursor. that way, the framerate of the movie could be 1 and the cursor motion will still be smooth as silk. still, pretty good tutorial for beginners who just want to try things out.

A descent movie

That was pretty good. It didn't seem much like virtual sea monkeys though. It was more like there's a script you have to follow and if you don't do it exactly you lose.

#2 is the coolest, but i think all of them are too fast to be in the background of the portal. a nice slower tune is best.
